Written in blank space between lines.
During Iraq war I, like many others, read Where is Raed?, weblog of an Iraqi man whose account of Baghdad during war was humorous, beautiful and far realistic than BBC and CNN. Soon thousand of people read his weblog daily. After war Salam Pax became famous. His weblog was published as a book and he got a movie deal. During reading his weblog I always sensed something familiar in his sentences. Yesterday I found out that the most famous blogger of Iraq is gay! For me it's at least the sixth or seventh time that I loved someone's work and then realized he is gay. I read somewhere that every story has another story within it, which is written in blank space between lines of it. A story that author wrote for him/herself. And it's a far more beautiful story. I wanted to write about politics in Middle East in this post, but it seems useless. Every time I think about this part of the world it remind me of this peace pigeon picture. As hard as she try to reach to her destination, she is bound to her background, for eternity.

... And I think the logo of Gay Arabs Yahoo group is really beautiful. Sometimes simplicity of an idea make things far more amazing than what a vast combination of entities can do.

... And Ebrahim Nabavi's "Forty years from now" program, this week has a piece about gay divorce in Iran! I think that's quite funny.
