Maybe one of most ridiculous aspects of recent battle on legalisation of gay marriage in united states is that homophobe groups accused gay couples of corruption and at same time the battle is about marriage which is (at least from their point of view) the best sanctuary against social corruption. I think gay couples are perhaps more moral than straight ones. The problem is that a stable and moral relationship is denied from them. But I think after fooling around as teenagers everyone need to build an stable life. My personal idea is that the most important aspect of marriage is building a life together. Nothing is as joyful as finding (or building) a house with each other, selecting furniture, learning that you are not just yourself anymore and learning how you can love someone else more than yourself and be happier when he was happy. Isn’t any old fashioned queer left? People need psychological support to carry burden of life and if you can't share this burden sooner or later you will crash. The marriage is a state that After all (thanks to Princess of Babylon for this masterpiece) two people start to live happily ever after.
